Check your local paper jazz and blues music listings, go out to support live jazz and blues music in your neighborhood. Each venue sets its own prices or cover policies Friday night as usual.

The Tacoma Jazz & Blues Festival
The jazz festival is your main event, located in the following venues: Freighthouse Square and The Harmon. Venues and artists subject to change, TBA.
Special new element:
Tacoma Community College Jazz Festival
In the Fall there will be a high schools portion of this event in conjunction with Tacoma Community College and The Tacoma Community College Jazz Festival and in association with The Tacoma Jazz and Blues Festival. This event will feature various schools in a series of performances and the festival will provide master classes and clinics for the students and a special appearance by Rich Wetzel’s Groovin Higher Jazz Orchestra. Date and details TBA very soon.

The purpose of the Tacoma Jazz & Blues festival is to support this great American musical artform, show off our great city, and to support music education in our local schools with outreach and clinic programs.
